Lea & Sandeman become sponsors!

The Islanders are delighted to annouce that Lea & Sandeman, the independant wine merchants (and long time suppliers of Tresco Estate's hotels), have stepped aboard and become bronze sponsors of the Scilly Mission.

Mr Charles Lea said the following about the challenge:

""Charles Lea, of wine importers LEA & SANDEMAN, is delighted to sponsor the Scilly Mission to do something he'd have loved to have done (in another life, in a bigger car) and wishes The Islanders all the best for their epic journey.

LEA & SANDEMAN is a leading wine importer, selling to restaurants all over the country and also to individuals via the internet and four shops in London.

We supply Tresco via weekly deliveries to the Penzance quayside in one of our own vans, and similarly deliver our vast range of wines countrywide. You can order mixed cases online at www.leaandsandeman.co.uk.

We will not be weighing down the car with supplies en route, but may be persuaded to provide a bottle to celebrate a successful conclusion!"
