Tresco Raft Race - Huge Success!

Sunday 6th July 2010; 12 teams of intrepid athletes and engineers came together in a fundraising day to rival any other. The inaugural Tresco Raft Race was held at New Grimsby, and saw hundreds of people partake in the race, as well as watch the proceedings.

Neil Barbary & Bartek Wypyszynski won the race, with their hydrodynamic creation "Spartan".

Prizes were given after, with many celebrating throughout the day at the makeshift "Driftwood Bar" and a fantastic BBQ by Jo Ash. A huge thanks to Tamasin Bridge for organizing such a good day!

Pete the Saxo was parked outside for all to admire, and an amazing £350 was raised for Cystic Fibrosis!
