Technical Concrete Cutting with gold!
We don't know whether to call it fate, luck, or what; on Monday, we gathered down to the quay to watch the car get loaded on to the boat, for the first leg of it's voyage over to St Mary's. There, we had many a puzzled look and smiling faces; we chatted to a couple of people, and had a lovely chat with a gentleman who asked whether it was too late to sponsor the car. Of course, I said, it was never too late! Not long after, we had secured our third Gold sponsor!
Technical Concrete Cutting are a Chichester based company, that specialise in all sorts of awesome sounding things; diamond drilling, diamond sawing, floor sawing, dowel hole drilling, ring sawing, chain sawing, wire sawing, concrete bursting & crunching, thermic lancing and robotic demolition. I have no idea what they all are, but we'd love to have a go at them.
Mr Ostler-Harris, of Technical Concrete Cutting, said he was delighted to be helping with our effort for such a good cause. James, Will & Nick send their sincere thanks for this very generous support - not just a faceless donation like other companies sometimes give (none of ours, of course) but Mr Ostler-Harris was very interested in everything we had done, we doing and will do. It's so nice for us, as a team, to know that so many people from so many walks of life are taking an interest and watching out for us.
Mr Ostler-Harris lives very close to our Goodwood launch, and we're hoping he might pop down for a cup of tea on our camp stove before we set off!
