The Scilly Mission Starts at Goodwood

Family and friends turned out to wave The Islanders off from Goodwood at the start oftheir journey to Mongolia.  Amidst a huge variety of vehicles Pete the Saxo was parked in Bay 80 getting ready for the off.  Last minute stickers were adhered to the car, supplies were packed and un-packed, goodbyes were said and finally the moment came when all the months of preparation became real.  With Will behind the wheel, James filming the moment whilst hanging out of the car and Mackey lounging in the back, they lined up on the Goodwood circuit for the countdown and then they were off! 

After a lap of the circuit we made our last wave and cheer as they headed off to start their epic journey.
