After countless hours of examining our AA road map and Google Earth, we believe we have finally come up with a route that fulfills our requirements:

  • Actually gets us to Ulaan Bataar, Mongolia
  • Doesn't take the "easy" route (ie. straight through Russia and it's nice tarmac roads)
  • Is at least 9,000 miles long
  • Hits 18 countries
